April 15th, 2009 It's hard for almost every business these days and railways are not taken apart. Canadian Pacific stored several locomotives across the system, including 55 units in Port Coquitlam, BC and more than 150 units in Montreal. For a complete storage listing, please watch the May edition of Canadian Railway Observations. Front page picture shows ES44AC units temporary stored, pending repairs at CAD Rail. 2 units were sent few days ago (8713 & 8718) and the rest should follow shortly. Waiting on this line are 8712, 8726, 8729, 8732, 8733 & 8749. More units should be sent to CAD Rail, including 8701, 8707, 8724 and few mores.

In long-term storage, we have a series of GE AC4400CW (95xx-98xx) sleeping in the yard. Unfortunately, the units were inaccessible at that time. 95xx-96xx were built between 1995 and 1998 while 97xx-98xx were built from 2003 to 2004.
